About Georgia Mansur

Georgia  Mansur

Originally from California, Georgia moved to Australia in 1984 with her husband to develop a Cotton Farm 72 klms west of Moree, living there for eleven years. While living in the bush, Georgia turned to painting as a creative outlet and a way to cope with the isolation and loneliness of a new lifestyle in a new country. At present, Georgia lives with her husband and their three boys at their Mudgee, New South Wales vineyard. Georgia’s work is a reflection of her emotional response to the world around her, painting subjects in an expressive manner.
